Tommy Howe Missing – A 24-year-old Antioch man was most recently seen Saturday morning in the space of Interstate 94 and Route 176 close to Libertyville in the wake of leaving the location of an accident by walking.
A broad pursuit Monday of the Old School Forest Preserve close to Libertyville turned up the work cellphone of Thomas “Tommy” Howe III however nothing else was found Howe is missing, police said.
Police depict Howe as 5 foot, 8 inches, 165 pounds with earthy colored hair and eyes.
Howe was most recently seen wearing a dim North Face coat and pants. Specialists said Howe had an arrangement Saturday morning in Vernon Hills. After the arrangement, he was associated with a car accident around 11 a.m. with one more vehicle on the interstate close to Route 176, police said.
As per Antioch police, witnesses detailed seeing Howe leave close to mile marker 16.75. There have been no affirmed sightings.
The pursuit Monday included Libertyville police and local groups of fire-fighters, Lake County Forest Preserve police, Lake County Metropolitan Enforcement Group, and the Wauconda local group of fire-fighters.
Monday’s pursuit additionally included 77 volunteers, five canines from Illinois Wisconsin Search and Rescue Dogs from McHenry County, and a few robots.
