Preston Burpo Brakes His Leg
Preston Burpo, the goalkeeper for the New England Revolution, experienced a severe leg injury on Saturday. The 37-year-old was endeavoring to stop a scoring endeavor by the New York Red Bulls, however, he wound up breaking his right leg all the while. As per the Boston Herald, the horrendous injury “left somewhere around one Revolution player in tears and every one of them noticeably shaken.”
Burpo was moved to Massachusetts General Hospital, where it was resolved that he broke two his right fibula and tibia.
