Mack Motzko Obituary – Former Cathedral hockey player Mack Motzko, 20, was killed late Saturday night after a lone minor accident in Orono.
The Orono Police Department and Long Lake neighbourhood gathering of firemen responded to a mishap at 11:23 p.m. Saturday, as shown by a public assertion from Orono police.
The mishap happened just about 3120 North Shore Drive in Orono. Police said the vehicle was going at a high speed, left the road, and hit a couple of trees.
Samuel Schuneman, 24 and of Maple Grove, was in the front seat and upheld deadly injuries, while James Blue, 51 and of Orno, and Motzko, in the aft guest plan, were transported to North Memorial Hospital. Motzko later kicked the can from his injuries.
Police said Schuneman and Motzko were both wearing seat straps. Blue wasn’t wearing a seat strap and was launch from the vehicle. He is being treated at North Memorial Hospital.
Police said that “alcohol and speed appear to be contributing factors and this case is at this point being investigated.”
The Minnesota State Patrol is assisting with the disaster assessment and propagation, while the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the accident.
