Gwen Casten Death
Gwen Casten, the 17-year-old girl of Illinois Rep. Sean Casten, has died, the representative’s office affirmed in a tweet Monday.
Casten’s office added no information about her cause of death. The Chicago-Tribune reports that Downers Grove police said they were called to a home in the space Monday, “for a lethargic 17-year-old female,” where “people on call discovered that the subject was expired.”
The teenager graduated from Downers Grove North High School in May and was gone to the University of Vermont in the tumble to concentrate on ecological science. She as of late showed up in a mission video supporting her dad’s offer for re-appointment and enumerating how turning 18 would imply a “major year.”
Her secondary school’s Empowerment Club, which she established, likewise took to Instagram to honor Gwen’s life, stating “There are no words that can start to depict the loss we are feeling.”
