Craig Heatley Death – An off-the-clock York Regional cop has been perceived as the individual killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday morning on Highway 6 and 10 south of Owen Sound.

The Gray Bruce OPP says 55-year-old Craig Heatley of Bradford-West Gwillimbury was enunciated dead in the clinical centre after the accident. He was the driver of the bicycle occupied with the mishap with an SUV. The explorer on the bicycle was taken to a close-by crisis facility to be treated for wounds.

York Regional Police Chief Jim MacSween posted on his power Twitter account Sunday that Heatley, while off the clock, and his better half were locked in with a certified cruiser sway in Meaford. MacSween said Heatley passed on in the accident, while his soul mate was in certified anyway stable condition.

Faint Bruce OPP says the accident happened at about 11:30 a.m. Police, Inter Township firefighters, and Gray County paramedics responded.

The driver of the SUV was also taken to a close-by crisis centre for an assessment.

The assessment is nonstop.
